We plan for taxes every year, but how often do we plan for a death of loved one—or even our own?
I’m Wendy, and I’m a widow.
It’s not a title I ever wanted, but one I was thrust into. The sudden loss of my husband threw me and my daughters into a tailspin. It was quite a challenge to move forward in life while learning to carry the grief, in addition to navigating the numerous obstacles that came from being so “unready”.
There were so many ways that we hadn’t prepared. None of our documents were gathered into one secure place, and we’d never thought to pre-plan our funerals, nor knew where to start! The moment of crisis is not the time to figure these important things out.
But where do you even start?
It is now my life’s passion to help others learn how to be as prepared as possible before they or their loved one is gone. I've created my Before You're Gone class to take you step by step through each of the different pieces that are crucial to have in order. Being unorganized and unprepared makes the days following a loved one's death all the more painful. You need to be ready and my Before You’re Gone class will help you do just that!
